Hi, I'm reviewing bug report https://bugs.debian.org/744699 - [fretsonfire][DFSG] Missing source
The source code of fretsonfire includes a residual file data/PyOpenGL__init__.pyc that is not used at all, and doesn't have the corresponding source code. It seems to be some residual from upstream that shouldn't even be there. The clean target in debian/rules, among other things, does: rm -rf `find . -name "*.pyc"` So it is absolutely and totally guaranteed that it's not used at all. so, now, what to do about it? Options are: 1) We repackage orig source code -again- to remove that file, and we release an exactly equal package that it's currently in the archive, but without this residual file and 2) We add the source code of the corresponding pyc file that's never used, even though, well, it will never be used 3) We close the bug report as won't fix explaining the reason Ideas?
