Chris is also running an somewhat older kernel, i.e. 3.9 whereas I use the latest Debian provided kernel (3.13-1-amd64) and most likely due to that don't run into this issue (thanks Chris, btw, for the detailed bug report). Reading the redhat bugzilla [0], this will require both a libnl [1] and NM [2] fix. I've CCed Heiko, our libnl maintainer. Heiko, can you update libnl accordingly and cherry-pick [1]?
