Hi all,
upgraded to pulseaudio 5.0 and still have the latency issue happening
at times. While it is random, it is much more easily replicated in vlc
if I forward the video few times (by using CTRL+Right arrow)

What I don't understand it both the times when it's happening randomly
as well as when I fast-forward why isn't the audio able to reconnect
with the video. This happens in some media files, not all.
Looking forward to know more. If needed can share the properties of
the media file (without disclosing the media file itself) via
mediainfo if that helps to shed some light as an example. This one was
an .mkv but there have been other formats as well.
