Woops, yes re-reading them all that makes more sense, I was just
thinking that it made it unusable to al users on this system, not
thinking globally

yes it has been working, probably with this version of survex, I did an
update of Debian last week, probably Tuesday, this was probably the
first time I did used aven since that update
