Package: libdjvulibre15 Version: 3.5.16-1 Severity: important Hello,
The upcoming KDE 3.5 is shipping /usr/share/mimelnk/image/x-djvu.desktop. This conflicts with libdjvulibre15, which also includes this file. I'd like to request that libdjvulibre15 not include this file, since it isn't the role of a library to include this sort of mime information, but the responsibility of user software. For instance, libpng doesn't include a png mimelnk file, but KDE does, etc. If the djvulibre package must include all this mimelnk stuff, icons, etc. then it should be with the djview package. Then you'll need to add a Conflicts with kdelibs-data (>> 4:3.5-rc1), and we can do the same with djview. At least now, however, people will be able to install libdjvulibre and KDE at the same time.
