Please don't close the bug. It's sad that it can't be updated in sid but it could still be updated in experimental adding a proper Breaks: line to prevent users from acidentally mixing calendarserver with an incompatible pycalendar. I'd be happy to handle the upload to experimental if it's o.k. for you.
