As I mentioned on #ubuntu-devel, the error message here comes from groff, so any problem would need to be fixed there. 15:08 <cjwatson> wookey: suspect you'll need to run the test verbosely to get the actual groff command, use groff's -V option to get the formatting pipeline, apply gdb to troff and see what the values of the relevant variables around there are (I assume this is you, Wookey?
