Sorry about that. Unfortunately I forgot to test that update with an older configuration file. I mistakenly assumed that everyone would have my updated version. Good news is that I have added a default value for no_playlist so it is always configured and if you don't have it specified on the command line or in your configuration file then it assumes that it should create playlists. I've uploaded an updated version to Debian Mentors and as soon as it gets accepted, I will close this bug.
