Hello,

I can confirm to have had a problem similar to the one described here.
On initramfs shell, vgchange -ay, ^D, ^D, solved the issue and after
booting the system up, I downgraded grub2-common, grub-common, grub-pc
and grub-pc-bin all to 2.00-22 and the issue was solved.

Initially I thought it was bug #741652, following the thread on
https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2014/03/msg01313.html. However, I
was only able to restore the system following the same manual activation
of lvm2 volume groups.

Since I do not know if it was an issue with initramfs or grub, I though
a notice here could be of some help.
