Package: src:linux
Version: 3.13.6-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

When using Debian kernels, my browser fails to detect Java when accessing my
Internet Banking. When using vanilla kernels, everything works perfectly.

More precisely:
The Internet banking site is Banco do Brasil (http://www.bb.com.br . Clicking
on the small blue OK button on the top of the page launches the Java security
applet required to access the bank account).
On the same computer:
- When booting with the linux-image-3.13-1-amd64, the browser returns an error
(No Java detected)
- When booting with the vanilla linux kernel (3.13.6, compiled with
kernel-package), the Java applet executes normally.

This problem seems to be independent from the Internet browser (the same
behavior is observed with Iceweasel, Chromium and Opera) and independent from
the Java version (problem observed with OpenJDK6, OpenJDK7 and Oracle's Java 7).

Note that this problem was oberved with other versions of the kernel (3.10 for
instance), but does not occur on Wheezy (Unless the kernel is upgraded with
Jessie's one for instance).

I believe that one of the patch applied on Debian kernel interferes with the
relationship between the Browser and Java when running the Internet banking
applet.

Could you please investigated?

Thank you.

Sincerely,
