Whoops, I just realised that I haven't replied to this last time, sorry. I haven't noticed anything peculiar happening right when the audio goes berserk. I'm not sure how to look at system events in real time in case it hiccups again, nor what log to look at after this has happened. I've tried to look at everything under /var/log/ to see if something turned out, but found nothing in regards to alsa. Also that link offered no help to me :( I don't use (and don't have) and optical cable or DTS hardware, just plain 'ol headphones through line-out. > librcc0 0.2.12 is still uploaded to sid. moc should work flawless now.
