I have a 1.2.5-245-g221a5d7 package created which Patrick Matthäi is helping me further improve, which would close #676880, #731003, and #740605. There are several other bugs I'm not able to replicate which my no longer apply to more recent versions of the package; I'll have a look at those after the preparations for 1.2.5-245 are complete.
