Package: netatalk
Version: 2.2.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

When trying to delete a directory over AFP, if that directory has POSIX
ACLs the user on their Mac will frequently get the error "The operation
can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of
the items."

I have tested the inverse and found that this error doesn't occur when
deleting a directory from which the POSIX ACLs have been removed.

The error appears to be non-deterministic.

Possibly related, I'm seeing extremely frequent occurrences of the
following in /var/log/daemon.log:
Mar 18 12:42:38 cagney afpd[13814]: sys_getextattr_size: error: Permission
denied

However, I checked the permissions all the way back to the root on the
file that was trying to be deleted, and in all cases, read (and execute,
for directories) was present for other.
