Package: gnumeric Version: 1.12.9-1 Severity: normal This must be a regression, as I have never seen this in several years of using Gnumeric. This bug makes it really difficult to cusotmise a graph, on occasion.
To reproduce: - create a new spreadsheet - enter data like for example: 1 0 2 1 3 0 4 1 - select the data just entered - press the "Insert a chart" button - select the first staircase type, i.e. "Stepped curve using the first y value" - press the Insert button and create a chart - double-click on the chart area you get a "Customize chart" dialog which leaves half the space unused, and where it is more or less difficult to scroll the buttons and widgets used to customize the graph. On occasion, it is next to impossible. Attached is a screenshot of the dialog. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (101, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.12-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnumeric depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.52 ii gnumeric-common 1.12.9-1 ii gsfonts 1:8.11+urwcyr1.0.7~pre44-4.2 ii libatk1.0-0 2.10.0-2 ii libc6 2.18-4 ii libcairo2 1.12.16-2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.30.5-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.38.2-5 ii libgoffice-0.10-10 0.10.9-1 ii libgsf-1-114 1.14.29-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.10.7-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.2-2 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.2-2 ii libxml2 2.9.1+dfsg1-3 ii procps 1:3.3.9-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-1 Versions of packages gnumeric recommends: ii evince 3.10.0-2 ii gnumeric-doc 1.12.9-1 ii lp-solve 5.5.0.13-7+b1 Versions of packages gnumeric suggests: ii fonts-liberation 1.07.3-3 ii gnumeric-plugins-extra 1.12.9-1 ii ttf-mscorefonts-installer 3.5 -- debconf information: * gnumeric/existing-process: true gnumeric/existing-process-title:
