Package: debdelta Version: 0.50+2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, When using debdelta and say you get a .deb with some issue in making the delta and then later applying that, debdelta tries to send logs to the server. Now it's very difficult to know if the logs have been sent or the process slept/zombified. Either give a progress bar or a percentage bar which tells alongwith the upload kilobyte rate.
Looking forward to hearing from you. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-updates'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.12-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IN, LC_CTYPE=en_IN (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages debdelta depends on: ii binutils 2.24-4 ii bzip2 1.0.6-5 ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-5 ii libc6 2.18-4 ii python 2.7.5-5 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-1 Versions of packages debdelta recommends: ii bsdiff 4.3-15 ii gnupg-agent 2.0.22-3 ii gnupg2 2.0.22-3 ii python-apt 0.9.3.2 ii xdelta 1.1.3-9 ii xdelta3 3.0.8-dfsg-1 ii xz-utils [lzma] 5.1.1alpha+20120614-2 Versions of packages debdelta suggests: pn debdelta-doc <none> -- no debconf information -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com 065C 6D79 A68C E7EA 52B3 8D70 950D 53FB 729A 8B17 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
