Package: grub-efi-amd64
Version: 2.00-22
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Ever since Jessie got the upgrade to grub 2.00, my laptop with grub-efi
installed does NOT automatically boot into debian the "first" time. What
I mean by the first time is the first boot after turning on the
computer.

The boot hangs very early at the 'loading initial ramdisk' stage.

Rebooting the computer using the key combination Ctrl+Alt+Del makes it
reboot and then the grub booting sequences proceeds accordingly

I don't know what's wrong here. Worked perfectly well before grub2

The computer is a gaming laptop, ASUS G55VW.
