Package: interchange-ui Version: 5.3.2-1 Severity: important
It's not possible to install Interchange 5.3.2 (from unstable) on Sarge. That is by all means understandable, but it would be nice if the dependency on Perl 5.8.5 is set correctly. When Im using Perl 5.8.4, this is what I get: Setting up interchange-ui (5.3.2-1) ... Starting Interchange Server: Low traffic settings. Calling UI... ...UI is loaded... Interchange V5.3.2 Running with new signals, external programs could be unreliable. Re-run with environment variable PERL_SIGNALS set to "unsafe" to change this. Your Perl version is not high enough to run threads, needs 5.8.5. dpkg: error processing interchange-ui (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 25 Errors were encountered while processing: interchange-ui E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (400, 'testing'), (300, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-686-smp Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE.ISO-8859-1 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages interchange-ui depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii interchange 5.3.2-1 e-commerce and general HTTP databa ii perl 5.8.4-8 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction -- debconf information: interchange-ui/defaultlocale: en_US -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
