Package: pcmcia-cs Version: 3.2.8-5.2 Followup-For: Bug #336909 I had the same problems with my Xircom Cardbus Ethernet 10/100 NIC and found out that adding
allow-hotplug eth0 to the /etc/network/interfaces works. Strange to say, that my 3com 3CRWE62092B WLAN NIC even works without adding that line to the interfaces file. It only needs some modification in /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts...
