Thank you for the update to PCManFM 1.2.0, which has now reached 'testing', which I am running. I see that I can now set a photo to 'Stretch to fill the complete screen' which does indeed work, although I do have to set each monitor separately (although this is not really a problem). However, this does not work very well as the picture is distorted by the stretching. The previous behaviour was more like the current 'Centre unscaled image on the monitor' option, which worked so well for landscape photos. I wonder whether what is needed is for all of the wallpaper modes to be available to be applied to either the monitor or the whole screen area.
