Aha, thanks for that. I have narrowed down the reproduction somewhat.

It seems to only fail to show the menu when the active bars themselves
are right-clicked (I would guess related to the tooltip statistics
that are displayed?). Because I don't use a label on the item, the bars
are almost the entire space that's available to click.

However, if I right-click on the space around the bars (the
border/frame), the menu does pop up. Likewise, if I alter the
preferences to show a label, I can get the menu by right-clicking over
the label.

Is anyone able to produce a menu by right-clicking on the active bars
themselves?
