$ pdfinfo test.pdf | grep '^Page '
Page size:      612 x 792 pts (letter)
Page rot:       90

This breaks the ability for a script to use
-scale-to-x $width -scale-to-y $height to generage a ${width}x${height} image. A script should not need to check the PDF's rotation first and
swap the dimensions.

Please provide a sample document showing the issue.

Also, could you please test with poppler-utils in experimental
(i.e. 0.24.x)?

Thanks,
