I question why logind is needed in the first place. Current-day systems are getting way too complex and complicated; we did not need something like this a few months ago either. *That’s* what my problem with systemd is. ---- Real follow-up question: will a user be able to install jessie with anything but systemd as init? (As opposed to an upgrade from wheezy, which will work anyway.) And what about jessie+1?
