Thanks, I've also pinged Matt Arnold (as member of pkg-irc) for his
opinion, no reaction so far.
Now I'd like to suggest the following procedure: Unless nobody objects
by Thu March 6th, feel free to upload your inspircd packaging.
* Either if you're ready for a long-term commitment: Drop all other
Uploaders:, just leave Maintainer: as is.
* Or if you're mostly interested in having a current inspircd
version in unstable and hope somebody else will pick this
package, make this a NMU.
Anyway, thanks for for efforts to keep inspircd in shape.
