The "migration plan" is documented at http://bugs.debian.org/739079.
It would be great if you could upload the new upstream version with the
patch to experimental!
If you need assistance, I could look into making the patch working with
both libav9 and libav10, should be just a matter of #ifdefs around
avcodec_alloc_frame/av_frame_alloc, and dropping the #include
<libavutil/avframe.h>.
