FYI it looks like live-build does some caching that may be at fault, as I have just had an issue in which I removed a package with no reverse dependencies and it still got installed by a another run of live build.
So likely the issue is in actual fact with live-build. I will attempt to confirm by running the previous list on a clean tree to see if the issue goes away. Regards, Daniel
