Thomas, I have already had several meeting on hangouts with the members of the cfengine3 packaging team on git and we agreed on what is the path forward: i.e.: they will solve the current issues that we discussed already and then we will start releasing that version, after a couple of releases we will transfer the ownership of the debian package to a cfengine3 packaging team, so that the burden will not lie on a single person.
