This is the only option that could cause the behaviour you experienced
but it's not the value that would trigger it. Please make a backup of
/etc/apt-cacher-ng/zz_debconf.conf then run "dpkg-reconfigure
apt-cacher-ng" and then make another copy of the mentioned file and then
send them to the bug report address.

And also try "grep -i bindaddress /etc/apt-cacher-ng/*.conf" , maybe
there is some other troublemaker.
