Dear Maintainer,

  Changes:

\/ added between an italic and a roman character

A full stop (.) at the end of an abbreviation protected with \&

  \- in(side) a compound word (option) changed to - (hyphen-minus).

For copy-and-paste people, the command 'man' should provide an option
that uses the ASCII code for hyphen-minus in options (are printed in bold)
instead of the code of a minus- or hyphen-glyph..

Space between sentences changed to two spaces
