Package: make
Version: 3.81-8.3
Severity: wishlist

Dear maintainer,

It would be nice if there were a debugging option to print the rule
being executed or being tried together with the file name and line
number where it come from.

Actually, without this information, I find all the debugging output
pretty useless.

Best regards,
Celelibi
