Package: google-chrome-unstable
Version: 34.0.1838.2-1
Severity: important

When I run 'google-chrome-unstable "package in Root mode, it appeared to me with this following message in the terminal:

(google-chrome-unstable:3725): GConf-WARNING **: Client failed to connect to the D-BUS daemon: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

In the case of the solutions presented by him , the first I discarded because I was just opening the application and not accessing any remote application . I suggest to check it out if the application allows you to configure a security policy for user " root " is not only because the default user that will use the application , but also the system administrator . I checked the response timeout , sending a " ping " command to the Google site which gave :

Weiller @ debian : ~ $ ping 173.194.42.191
