Hello, Daniel and Josselin. I was digging into this bug as my new k3d
package
was having problems with rsvg and relative paths.
I have isolated the patch in the upstream CVS. There are unofficial
packages
in http://people.debian.org/~ender/ that have this patch applied. Daniel and
affected parties, please test. It works for me.
The relevant commit is:

Josselin, when we talked last week, you referred to some problems with
new
GNOME (2.12) gnome-games and new rsvg in experimental. I did not have time to
see their mutual interaction, but this fix is what I needed to follow with my
development (and kill several bugs in k3d).
Please, Josselin, apply this patch and upload a new package in the
meantime.
