Package: python-kivy
Version:1.7.2-1
severity: minor
tag: sid

The license is incorrectly stated. The project page tells me version
1.7.2 is MIT, while the package tells me that the same 1.7.2 version
is LGPL v3.

the package says: @https://packages.debian.org/sid/python-kivy
"""
Package: python-kivy (1.7.2-1)
[...]
Kivy is an open source library for developing multi-touch
applications. It is completely cross platform (Linux/OSX/Win/Android)
and released under the terms of the GNU LGPL V3.
"""

while the project page says: @http://kivy.org/
"""
Kivy is 100% free to use, under an MIT license (starting from 1.7.2)
and LGPL 3 for the previous versions. The toolkit is professionally
developed, backed and used. You can use it in a commercial product.
"""

Lastly, i'd like to say my personal opinion that I had wished it
remained LGPL, since I plan to start projects on it and expect to
contribute code back, so there is hope this is a invalid report bug
after all.

thank you,
