I have set the severity to important, because this seems likely to break existing setups out there in the wild. Since this affects git-annex, and I have only put in a quick fix (preventing it from using any uppercase when generating new Host lines, but not fixing up existing ones), I'd appreciate if you let me know if this is something that is likely to be fixed.
