Package: 855resolution Version: 0.4-1 Severity: minor Sections 2 and 3 of README.Debian could be confusing. Section 2. reads Mode 3c : 1400x1050, 8 bits/pixel Section 3 reads MODE=3c XRESO=1400 YRESO=1050
This would patch the mode to its original values. Upstream's README shows the original 855resolution -l output and the one after patching. If README.Debian wants to only show 1 output, it should show the original output. Note that upstream's README is clearer about how to choose the mode to patch : "I personnaly decided to overwrite the 1920x1440 resolution (mode 3c) because I don't use it". And while you're at it, another nice change to the README would be to reword section 5 to mention the debconf method, instead of editing the X config file manually as section 5 seems to suggest currently. Only edit manually if debconf doesn't propose the resolution. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-386 Locale: LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages 855resolution depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an 855resolution recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
