I just installed version 13.4 from testing.
The issue is still the same. X-Server immediately crashes in eog using

What about 13.12 (in testing) and 14.1~beta (soon in unstable?)

Andreas

Hi,

I can reproduce the problem with current the driver from testing, too.
I am a little confused about the versions?!
Following lines are contained by my Xorg log-file telling me I'm using version 13.25:

[ 183.296] (II) LoadModule: "fglrx"
[ 183.296] (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/fglrx_drv.so
[ 183.308] (II) Module fglrx: vendor="FireGL - AMD Technologies Inc."
[ 183.308] compiled for 1.4.99.906, module version = 13.25.5
[ 183.308] Module class: X.Org Video Driver
[ 183.309] (II) Loading sub module "fglrxdrm"
[ 183.309] (II) LoadModule: "fglrxdrm"
[ 183.309] (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/linux/libfglrxdrm.so
[ 183.309] (II) Module fglrxdrm: vendor="FireGL - AMD Technologies Inc."
[ 183.309] compiled for 1.4.99.906, module version = 13.25.5
[ 183.309] (II) AMD Proprietary Linux Driver Version Identifier:13.25.5 [ 183.309] (II) AMD Proprietary Linux Driver Release Identifier: 13.251 [ 183.309] (II) AMD Proprietary Linux Driver Build Date: Dec 6 2013 15:19:03
[   183.309] (++) using VT number 8

But "apt-cache show fglrx-driver" gives me version 13.12??

Whatever, the problem still exists...

Chris
