Jari, thanks for your work. I have neglected this package a bit. Seems that a 2.0.0 version has been released a year ago but not by the original upstream author. I have sent out an email to get a clarification on the status of the software. There are also hints that weather.com has changed their API and I'd like to know if this package is becoming useless.
As soon as the new maintainer replied I will deal with your bug report. Either I will tidy up the Debian packaging according to your suggestion. Or I will request that this package gets removed from Debian. …Christoph
