For that reason, eject was listed among the packaged that are part of Debian Installer "level 2" translations: packages that have translatable material that impacts the completeness of D(I translation for users. See http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/doc/i18n/ch01s05.html#idp50546956 for details. The stats listed at http://d-i.debian.org/l10n-stats/ are updated daily and some scripts point to the relevant VCS repositories. If the switch is made, I need to replace eject by util-linux and point D-I translators to it....as well as statistics scripts. What is the VCS URL for util-linux? Is that really git://git.debian.org/~lamont/util-linux.git as pointed by debian/control (therefore Lamont Jones home on Debian servers) or something more team-compatible?
