Control: tags -1 + moreinfo (Axel: adding you explicitly because you have sparc machines around still in good working order and on-line, IIRC).
Can somebody please confirm if this still happens in more recent versions? It's 7 years later, I think that such a basic problem must have been fixed in the meantime, in one way or another.
