Package: less Version: 393-1 Severity: normal In the default mode (without -m), less doesn't actually show the colon prompt it's supposed to show. Manually setting the prompt to ":" with "-P:" makes no difference. With -m, the percentage prompt appears normally.
I've reproduced this problem under rxvt and xterm, but I have no reason to think it's limited to them. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages less depends on: ii debianutils 2.15.1 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libc6 2.3.5-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libncurses5 5.5-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand less recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
