Package: subversion Version: 1.7.14-1+b1 Severity: normal In KDE on Debian Testing/Jessie, when checking out a new working copy from a repository located on a server, with the svn command line client, the client seg faults. The configuration file for subversion is the default one from this package. Kwallet is installed and apparently the segmentation fault happens when the subversion client contacts kwallet for storing the password. But it only happens when there is no working copy present.
A work around is to check out a working copy in a virtual terminal, without any kwallet involved. Once the working copy is there, subversion works ok from a terminal run in KDE. For instance when updating the working copy or making a commit. The first time subversion asks for a password and apparently suceeds in storing the password in kwallet. On subsequent updates or commits, the password now stored in kwallet is used. Clearly, the initial check out should also work. There is bug #634073 about svn launching kwallet, but the problem here is not identical and the bug relates to older versions of subversion as well as kwallet.
