I fully understand that you want absolutely have this historically good IDE available for educational purpose. But the issue is that it is really based on a legacy lib no more maintained by gdb developers. I'd personally recommend using Lazarus, but if you want to help fixing original sources, I'll be glad to include your patches and to push then upstream too. Concerning the above links, I'm not in favor of adding new bloat. You can probably use them to provide patches, but I won't multiply the sources for the same package. This is confusing users but also multiplying the support effort. I have tried to fix this issue several times during the last few years, but no success. Many patches where proposed but not enough to fix all the issues. But of course any help is welcome. Cheers,
