Hi, I would like to escalate this from wishlist to normal. This issue puts a lot of friction when trying to bootstrap a new architecture.
The bug seems stale, which made me write this ping. Looking at http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/main/f/flex/flex_2.5.35-10.1ubuntu2/changelog this seems to be one of the only things, so it should be possible to lift the patches directly from Ubuntu.
