I was installing webmin (which wants apt-show-versions) on a beagleboard (arm) and it compresses the list files -- apt-show-versions choked.
The default was .19+nmul. I tried 22.3 with the same problem. This seems it should be easy to fix -- is it? It took a while to figure out what was the problem ;-) marty
