Warning: relevant archive skew detected. Archive allegedly contains 4.20131106~bpo70+1 But we were not able to obtain any version from the archive or git. dgit (build host): package appears to be new in this suite; if this is intentional, use --new no version available from the archive dgit: protocol violation; eof not expected - exit 255 git-annex is available in backports. The backports.debian.org url it's trying only works for oldstable backports, not for wheezy backports, which are integrated into the main archive. I tried editing dgit and just removing the quick line that makes it use that url, and that fixed the problem. IMHO it's not worth trying to support oldstable backports. With that fixed (or worked around by adding --new to the command line), the next bug in rpush is that dgit spits to the console what looked like a diff between two versions of my package. It then fails: dgit: failed command: git diff --exit-code 4a130491be3aecdb31f2654a8d086269f2d19ea3 dgit (build host): subprocess failed with error exit status 1 dgit: protocol violation; eof not expected - exit 255 -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 orca has dgit 0.21 installed as well Kernel: Linux 3.10-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages dgit depends on: ii curl 7.34.0-1 ii devscripts 2.13.9 ii dpkg-dev 1.17.6 ii dput 0.9.6.4 ii git [git-core] 1:1.8.5.3-1 ii libdpkg-perl 1.17.6 ii libwww-perl 6.05-2 ii perl [libdigest-sha-perl] 5.18.2-2 ii realpath 1.19 ii wget 1.15-1 Versions of packages dgit recommends: ii openssh-client [ssh-client] 1:6.4p1-2 Versions of packages dgit suggests: pn sbuild <none> -- no debconf information -- see shy jo
