Hi, #498590 was the cause for this bug, #64071, and #498590 was closed in September 2009, rather at the beginning of the squeeze release cycle. So I'm closing this bug now, as probably all packages exposing this bug have been rebuild using a newer menu version since then. Also, there is a discussion in #699390 to drop menu from the desktop-task...
Lintian maintainers, I recommend you close #498591 with wontfix as well.
