Package: reportbug Version: 6.4.4 Severity: wishlist Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
If for whatever reason, such as wanting to change your email settings, you want to reconfigure reportbug, this is difficult to do within the GUI. The easiest way to do it is 'reportbug --configure', and needing to use a command as part of a GUI program does not encourage it to be accessible to non-technical users. Its a small detail, but I think it is important to encourage such users to feel able to report bugs so we can recognise what causes problems for them that might be overlooked by more technically advanced users. -- Package-specific info: ** Environment settings: INTERFACE="gtk2" ** /home/zack/.reportbugrc: reportbug_version "6.4.4" mode standard ui gtk2 realname "Z" email "b...@theloosespoke.org.uk" no-cc header "X-Debbugs-CC: b...@theloosespoke.org.uk" smtphost reportbug.debian.org -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.12-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages reportbug depends on: ii apt 0.9.14.2 ii python 2.7.5-5 ii python-reportbug 6.4.4 reportbug recommends no packages.
