Hi, I'm the Debian package maintainer of python-mockito. The following bug was reported against my package:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=735816 Therefore, I had to neutralize distribute_setup.py (patch it so that it wouldn't download the distribute tarball). It would be very nice if what you've done could be avoided while building the Debian package (there's no need to do that, python-setuptools is installed by the build-dependencies). Please let me know if something can be done upstream to address this issue.
