Hi there.

I experience exactly the same effect as the one described here, but I do
get an error on two different kde installations, one -netbook and the
other -desktop, same error on the two of them:
plasma-netbook(4611)/kdecore (services)
KServiceFactory::findServiceByDesktopPath: "kcm_kdeconnect" not found

I'm somehow on doubt on whether or not any of the two parts are indeed
working, since I don't get to see any kde machines on the kdeconnect
android app either, which leads me to think there could be two different
problems.

Still, I thought this .xsession-error entry might help.

Please let me know what information I might provide for providing a
better debugging log to this bugreport.

Thnx

Dererk
