Package: src:eris Followup-For: Bug #701273 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
Hallo, I just also try to understand the situation, while see if there is a way to NMU ember to aid in some transitions... But I think only a DD could help right now, because its needs an upload of another package: So the mess seems like this (a little simplified...) - - ember B-D on liberis-1.3-dev, (provided by eris, this package) - - liberis-1.3-dev in uninstallable (missing dep on libskstream-0.3-6, there is now a libskstream-0.3-7) - --> so a rebuild of eris is needed Hoewever eris *cannot* be rebuilt rightt now, because of broken B-Ds: It needs libmercator-0.3-dev. However, this package cannot be installed -- broken dependencies. It depends on libwfmath-1.0-dev, which is unavailable. The base src package for libwfmath is wfmath, and is currently at version 0.3.12 and stating on the PTS that "wfmath 1.0.2+dfsg1 is in the packaging queue" dated Sep 11 2013 A try to compile mercator against libwfmath-0.3 instead FTBFS, the version is hardcoded in its configure.ac (and indeed needed) Looking for the libwfmath 1.0 packages, I saw that there was an upload to mentors.d.n -- https://mentors.debian.net/package/wfmath It says that this package needs a sponsor, but I could not find a RFS for it (neigther on the mailing list, nor on the BTS...) So it seems, to resolve this mess, an essential step would be to upload libwfmath1.0. But that needs a DD :) maybe the package from mentors is fine enough to just upload it? (I did not check the quality of it, but at least it seems lintian clean) Or this is a case where a NMU is justifiable? After libwfmath1.0 entered unstable, this and all other related RC bugs can be tackled. - -- coldtobi - -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJS2Y6WAAoJEJFk+h0XvV02iggQAKtSdP48xRkz8sDsqi83O0RH scx+bzPdhnCGctUJb6MFC8PsI3tI65sVfdCWS93YvxYCK59Kh5lgC/s/XTetvanS Oh1ayQ5Y1kt4zPA/DZuIWeZie7mjhl2X4nVU6iSA14xO+v5IBQyuuEFsMP8xgTk2 brzSl+1XZHL0mVfoklcdAxVjOA70PoQk35QqIZXjaF+kGI+YSTYPqe+GsrKovEZ6 oaG6Ya06Rn2KiOw2EKV3pKukJ9YSFW42sAa8HZF19Ak1/gAvaXSvJ+/YLYknahvi b3v62zbNGcHvdf/VUg+d6K2jowdmYTrcB2IOD4sAOMm4+RZlWJPZJj9U7vtDLRsm T/bhc+TnXdjhMyz5SE9TYS2NWxn5BhommlgCFB0aOu77oP0tq367Rr7WTe6vouvZ bfEvNmu4QAdG24FxHizCdWjm4GAr6op6KiVCxTYJ4lgKEW/sZFrwFsiZPHr+lg1R u6jYlufP+tZYaLxySXeFIyWniU1yAkVpoQejZVHfl7Ai514Gnoap/8BlTMjuE3x4 f0uRuMixT+VH0fwCa3748GLi5CDNOAl0ic7o8bnEZ3iMMzRy89ItfYXZV0Kgl/Sx b5bTUOgyob1l24287WLSvadUbFcXben2PzGh+5LYQzJ6AaYezS/lMxVl6khEe2Ix 9REYjfQTTbc2vmEZR6dt =KDCa -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
