Hi Jeremie,
Sorry for not responding to your request for more information for so long. I had downgraded to 20080615-11.1 which still works correctly. Retrying the upgrade means losing IPv6 connectivity again which is inconvenient ;) To answer your question, I was already running testing. I dist-upgrade manually every so often to pull in newer versions and this time an upgrade for wide-dhcpv6-client from 20080615-11.1 to 20080615-12 came along. Doing an upgrade for only wide-dhcpv6-client again gives the same behaviour. This is the debug output after upgrading to 20080615-12 again: # /usr/sbin/dhcp6c -c /etc/wide-dhcpv6/dhcp6c.conf -P default -d -D -f vlan2 Jan/03/2014 16:21:30: get_duid: extracted an existing DUID from /var/lib/dhcpv6/dhcp6c_duid: 00:01:00:01:18:dc:f8:d5:00:e0:81:5d:b8:63 Jan/03/2014 16:21:30: client6_init: setsockopt(SO_REUSEPORT): Protocol not available And then it immediately exits. If you want me to run any other tests or need more information about my environment don't hesitate to ask.
